Karmelle Karmelle is known as a
singer/songwriter who trained at the Guildhall School of Drama and Music. After she graduated with Merit she performed as an Opera Singer throughout Europe, including at the Wexford Festival, Milan Festival and Holland Park Festival.
She obtained glowing reviews in The Independent and
opera Magazine when she sang the Principal Soprano role of Nell in Max Brandts' Machinist Hopkins, in the Royal Festival Hall.
Even though her training was primarily classical she has always enjoyed performing and listening to all music, including dance, folk, rock, and jazz.
Her love of other musical styles has led her to compose songs which are a fusion of classical singing and contemporary genres.
From the beautiful flamenco influenced Ritorna A Me (Return To Me), to the jazzy melodic Amore Al Sole (Love in the Sun), Karmelles lovely soprano voice and warm draws the listener in, while the fusion of genres brings a new audience to classical singing.
Karmelles songs are that rarest of things, music that appeals to every age group and musical tastes. While her voice appeals to all because of its beauty.
